Recently, I wrote about how PayPal has a relatively program that reimburses you for certain retailers that charge for return shipping costs. I am pleased to announce that the first time using this program was a great success. This morning, after a bit more than a week or so of waiting, I received a notification from that $6.50 was in my account waiting for withdrawal.
$6.50 may not seem like a whole lot but if you shop and return items often, any reimbursement for otherwise foregone shipping costs definitely adds up. And, I verified again that I did receive credit card points for using PayPal initially so they are now my default payment option.

In addition to using coupons, shopping portals, and price comparison tools, a free return shipping program is yet another tool in your savings arsenal. The next time you are checking out on your favorite online shopping site, look to see if PayPal is an option. With many other payment types out there, such as Visa checkout, perhaps others will follow suit and offer similar incentives for using their payment services.
